  Fine stand of Oldenburgia arbuscula on west slope. A denser stand crowned Mt. Misery instead before removal to accommodate a telephone-relay tower there in 1980's.

  Where a few plants of Crinum campanulatum flowered for the first time after having been transferred there from another vlei by Mrs. Lou Mullins in 1960's. Previously this vlei had none of these whereas other vlei's there had lots.
