This digitised archival document records the Rhodes University East London graduation ceremony held on Saturday, 8 May 1993, at the Guild Theatre in East London. The six-page programme identifies university officeholders and S. Fourie as Director of the East London Division, outlines the ceremonial proceedings and records the presentation of an honorary Master of Pharmacy degree to Bennett Alexander Jacobson. Graduates are listed across the Faculties of Commerce, Education, Arts and Social Science, with qualifications including Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Arts, a Higher Diploma in Accountancy, an honours degree in Psychology and postgraduate master’s degrees.
