This digitised archival document records the Rhodes University East London graduation ceremony held on Saturday, 16 May 1992, at the Guild Theatre in East London. The seven-page programme identifies university officeholders and S. Fourie as Director of the East London Division, outlines the ceremonial proceedings, and records the conferral of an honorary Doctor of Laws degree on Professor Chester Arthur Crocker, Landegger Distinguished Research Professor of Diplomacy at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. Graduates are listed in the Faculties of Commerce, Education and Social Science, including Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Education degrees and a Master of Social Science.
