This digitised archival document records the Rhodes University graduation ceremony held on Saturday, 8 April 1972, in the University Great Hall. The seven-page programme identifies university officeholders, outlines the ceremonial proceedings and records honorary degrees awarded to Dr A. C. Cilliers (Doctor of Laws) and Dr W. J. Waddell (Doctor of Science). It lists graduates across the Faculties of Science, Commerce, Social Science and Law, including qualifications in mathematics, chemistry, physics, microbiology, pharmacy, accounting, economics and social work.
