Description / content note: The player was about 300 miles from his home district working on the construction of the Kariba dam on the Zambezi river. "I am so very ugly that no one will marry my daughter." As in other communities it is important to launch your daughter as soon as possible. The Ndau Mbira has three manuals but this example has only two, tuned from right to left in descending order. Self delectative song with Mbira dza WaNdau, tin resonator and 26 notes.
