Wangu ukhutina

Item

Title
Wangu ukhutina
Description / content note
There appears to be a tendency to distort the Swahili language when singing in the Arab style, just as there is when African words are set to an English tune. An interesting melody sung by a young man with a deep bass voice. This was recorded in a back street of Mombasa outside the musicians club in the shade of the trees.
