Title
Tubuke ku kaya kwa Mwankenya
Performer / Recordist
Description / content note
This instrument had four rows of red beads tied across the notes which rattled as each note below it was played. All the Bantu tribes appear to like this kind of buzzing which to them seems to enhance the rhythm at the expense of the melody. The vibrato effect is achieved through the use of a vibrato hole in the back of the instrument. Nostalgic song, with 7 note Limba (Mbira).
