Lyangala madunda libogo

Item

Title
Lyangala madunda libogo
Description / content note
"The love-torn man takes refuge in marriage, like a buffalo who hides himself up in the hills." A cheerful song, originally a wedding song but often sung as a drinking song. A good example of clapping as an accompaniment to dance. It seems fairly certain that the song has an erotic meaning behind it.
