Description / content note: The singers of these popular Ganda songs are so greatly in demand and sing for such long hours at a time that hardly one of them has any quality left in his voice except a croak. The harsh quality of the voices is a typical characteristic of such songs. The quality of the drum playing can be distinctly heard at the end of the recording. Topical song, with Endongo lyre, 2 Ndingidi lutes and large conical, laced, headed drum.
