Description / content note
-
This song is about Idi Mambo, a local eccentric who went about doing peciliar things. He once climbed up a tree and stayed there for four days to the amazement of the people who came from far and near to see him. It appears that 'pole sitting' is not prerogative of eccentric Americans only. Historical song, with one tall conical drum, open, pinned 34" x 9" - one large connical drum laced, 19" x 15 1/2" and hand clapping (-12.03-).
