Description / content note: The Konsolo dance is said to have been performed in the 1930's. It is suggested that Nkundazuwa was very fond of playing with the baby and used to wake it up for this purpose. Nkundazuwa is a village headman, living about 10 miles from the village of Kachere. A pleasant little sidelight on family life. "A Nkundazuwa pinches his baby and wakes it up so that it does not go to sleep." Konsolo women's dance with clapping.
