Description / content note
-
A song sung when the girls clean their lamps, also used when they play sometimes. There would appear to be a hidden meaning behind this song as well as the obvious one. Possibly the equivalent of Aladdin's Lamp. "Kanyali kangaka, Ndikawalitsadi, kanyali kangaka kangaka." "My little lamp, I shine it well." Work song.
