Overall photo of the type of 'heathy' fynbos veld with Erica glumiformis in pale yellow flower. The Sun Garden Hotel in background. This was a relict patch of fynbostype veld which once covered the Summerstrand area prior to its development for housing. This patch will disappear in the not-too-distant future taking an interresting veld type with it.
