- From caf? on Brookes Hill showing site of beach-sanding since harbour wall started in late 1920's, 80 years ago. In 1920's the oil tanks in left uppermost corner would have been in the sea. Note how low dunes have grown along the high-tide level with natural dune-plants coming in as cover.
